Celestial Health and Human Services, Inc is a nonprofit 501c3 organization which envisions a society where every individual receives holistic support and equitable access to healthcare, education, and social services, fostering their well-being and successful integration.
Our Mission
Our mission is to provide comprehensive assistance and resources to empower immigrant communities in achieving physical, mental, and social well-being. Through collaboration with communities organizations and policymakers, we promote the integration of immigrants into society by addressing their unique challenges and enhancing their quality of life.

Dr. Lisa Haqq
President and Founder
Dr. Lisa Lanauze Abdul-Haqq is a devoted primary care nurse practitioner, public speaker, and educator who has worked to reduce health disparities and empower immigrant communities for over 15 years. In 2022, she founded Celestial Health and Human Services, Inc. She is committed to providing holistic care to her patients and specializes in adult-gerontology. Lisa’s academic journey includes a BA in Biological Anthropology from Temple University, an MA in Bilingual and Bicultural Studies from LaSalle University, a BSN from Holy Family University, an MSN from Lasalle University and a doctoral degree in Clinical Nursing Practice and Leadership from Holy Family University. Fluent in French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, she has undertaken medical missions in Haiti and Peru, demonstrating her dedication to global health. Lisa’s contributions extend beyond clinical practice, as she has hosted a radio show on WDAS-FM and created educational health videos in multiple languages for social media platforms. She is also a singer, worship leader, and enjoys event planning, traveling, and family time. A member of esteemed professional organizations such as Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society and a Fellow with the College of Physicians of Philadelphia, Lisa’s tireless efforts continue to advance healthcare practices and promote community well-being.

Parthen Yves Anty
Vice President
Parthen Yves Anty is the CEO of CTC Mortgage PA, LLC and CEO of Parthen Financial & Language Services, LLC. Yves earned a BS in Radiologic Sciences and contributed to the healthcare industry for numerous years. He also studied Communications at Temple University and was a radio talk show host on Gospel Highway 11 AM and WDAS FM in Philadelphia for over 3 years. In addition to English, Yves is fluent is in French and Haitian Creole. As an International Interpreter, he plays a pivotal role in the Philadelphia court system, offering precise interpretation and translation services. Additionally, he holds roles as a Notary Public and Licensed Insurance Agent, embodying a commitment to public service. Beyond his professional endeavors, Yves is a dedicated family man, balancing his multifaceted roles with unwavering devotion.

Schmid Chatelier
Treasurer
Schmid Chatelier is the Chief Operating Officer of a leading law firm in Philadelphia, balancing his executive duties with a passion for music as an accomplished musician. Beyond his professional endeavors, he serves as a dedicated Praise and Worship Leader, nurturing spiritual connections within congregations, and a Minister of the Gospel, extending his faith and leadership to diverse communities. Fluent in English, French, Haitian Creole, and Spanish, Schmid embodies a commitment to excellence across languages and cultures.

Inerthia Barthelus
Secretary
Inerthia Barthelus is a dedicated Patient Continuity and Needs advocate at Dedicated Senior Medical Center, leveraging her extensive experience as a former Service Coordinator at Philadelphia Corporation for Aging. Over five years at PCA, she expertly identified and allocated resources to fulfill participants’ requirements for home and community-based services. In her current role, Inerthia conducts Social Determinants of Health Screenings, ensuring patients access the resources they qualify for, and assists in identifying dual eligible patients for optimal Medicaid and Medicare benefits. She holds a BA in History from Bloomfield College and uses knowledge to teach others about history and culture. Beyond her professional endeavors, Inerthia finds joy in spending quality time with her family, indulging in movies, exploring new cultures through travel, and embracing her bilingual abilities.

Dr Gloria Kersey Matusiak
Secretary
Dr. Gloria Kersey-Matusiak is a professional nurse, nurse educator, and Professor Emerita after retiring from full-time teaching at Holy Family University. She continues to teach courses in nursing on a part-time basis. Having become passionate about diversity and the need for cultural competence in the U.S. and the world, she acquired an advanced certificate in culturally competent care from Temple University’s former Multicultural Training and Research Institute. She has presented on various diversity topics throughout the Northeast region of the U.S & in Oxford England, and is the author of Delivering Culturally Competent Care for Nurses: Working with vulnerable populations, 2019, a Springer publication. As a result of her interest and concern for civil rights, immigration, and individuals transitioning to the U.S. or studying for citizenship, she obtained certification in teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL/TESL/TEFL from Oxford Seminars and currently works with members of the Spanish-speaking community in Northeast Philadelphia. She continues to promote diversity and social justice through her teaching, writing, diversity training, and work in the community
